About Me

Hey, I'm José. I'm a Software Engineer and Karate athlete from Costa Rica 🇨🇷. I've been doing mobile and web development for over 7 years. Originally I wanted to be a designer, but I fell in love with programming and never looked back. I'm passionate about creating beautiful, accessible and performant experiences for the web. Outside of work, I'm currently pursuing my career as a Karate athlete. I'm a member of the Costa Rican National Team and I'm currently the #1 in the national ranking in my category. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my girlfriend, my family and my dogs. Some of my hobbies include drawing, playing the guitar, reading, and playing video games.
